
'Cooked rice mixed with curd and tempered with mild spices. A popular recipe from down South India. CURD RICE Ingredients 1 cup yogurt (curd) 1½ cups cooked rice 1 tablespoon oil 1 teaspoon mustard seeds 1 tablespoon split Bengal gram 4-6 curry leaves 1-2 dried red chillies Salt to taste Method 1. Take rice in a bowl and mash lightly. Add yogurt and mix well. 2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add Bengal gram and sauté for a minute. Reduce heat, add curry leaves and dried red chillies. Switch off heat and add the tempering to rice. Add salt and mix well. 3. Serve immediately.
